Gemini and Claude are good at answering. They are bad at remembering where the answer went. Folderist adds the missing filing cabinet without changing how you chat.

- File any conversation into a folder from the sidebar. Rename, move, reorganise whenever. Your folders survive reloads and new tabs.
- Full-text search
- Search inside every chat you've opened, not just titles. Results show the matching passage and jump straight to it.
- Saved prompts
- Keep the prompts you retype. Add blanks with
{{name}}and fill them in on insert, straight into the composer. - Export
- Markdown, plain text or JSON, with who-said-what kept in order. Or copy as Markdown and paste into your notes.
Private by construction
Folderist has no server. Folders, prompts and the search index live in your browser's own storage, on your device. There is no account, no analytics, and nothing is uploaded, which you can confirm from the only permission it asks for.
